At Al-Ayn, we want to change the narrative around the orphaned children’s stories. We don’t think their tragic pasts need to dictate their future. And we want to give our supporters a chance to be part of that change. Will you be part of their story and pave their way for a brighter future?
In the province of Almuthana lives a family of four children with their mother. Three years ago, their father sadly passed away. The house they lived in was not in a good shape to start with, but over the past three years, the state of the house has gone worse. The toilet and the kitchen leaked, there was a broken window, and the main front door wouldn’t lock properly. When a snake once found its way into their home, they knew something had to change.
Thanks to your generous donations, Al-Ayn’s winter housing campaign has helped bring new hope to families like this one in Almuthana. As soon as work on the house began, the four siblings have watched on with excitement. Their mother told us, “The dream of having our own proper house has really lifted their spirits. We all have new hope for the future.”
The house isn’t finished yet. Only the foundation and the walls are done. But we can already see the smiles painted on the children’s faces as they watch their home’s transformation. You can help us complete rebuilding their home and other families in need: your donations could help towards building a window (£40), twenty square metres of a roof (£300), or a door (£150).
Together we can make this dream come true.
