Jaman was orphaned when his father passed away in 2011. Together with his mother, he was left to take care of his little brothers. The youngest brother is disabled and unable to walk properly. Jaman misses his father and feels his absence everyday, especially with his new responsibilities as a carer.
At Al Ayn, our mission is to empower orphaned children through comprehensive care. We can’t change Jaman’s tragic past or bring his father back. But we can pave the way for a better future through providing Jaman with the support he needs to both survive and thrive.
At the moment, with the help of kind-hearted supporters, Al-Ayn provides Jaman and his family with monthly sponsorship funds to cover food and clothing. But one big thing must change: their home. The house Jaman’s family lives in is in a poor state. The walls have holes, and the roof is not waterproof. When it rains, the living room gets flooded. This is not a livable situation for him or his brothers.
We must act now. With your help, we want to rebuild the house Jaman is living in. We want to repair the roof, fix the holes in the wall, and change the broken windows. £40 could buy a window, £100 could buy a water tank, £150 could buy a door, £300 could repair 20 square metres of roofing and £1000 could build 10 square metres of a wall.
Be part of a better future for Jaman and his family.
